SMALL TEAM RURAL TACTICS 1

Rural Tactical movement skills rate different than standard entry techniques. This course is designed to provide law enforcement offciers and deputies with tactics and techniques when searching for or pursuing a suspect(s) on foot in open rural or rugged terrain. This course covers day and night techniques and it is highly recommended to utilize night vision goggles, drones and K9s during the training to develop a cohesive team approach to safely apprehending suspects in terrain. TCCC and casualty evacuation are covered as well.

PREREQUISITES

All students must be verified law enforcement officers/investigators. This is an arduous course and students must be capable of strenuous physical activity for hours.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Duty uniform to include all tactical gear (helmet, vest/plate carrier etc) and weapons
  • SIMs coversion kit for rifle with 100 sims rounds
  • Small backpack to carry water and supplies
  • Boonie hat
  • NVG
  • Compass and/or GPS
